Headlining this week's Weho News is this article on the Walgreens development and the delay.
What's interesting is that the developer is saying the City DID know about the toxic chemicals under the site. Was it fully disclosed? Did the developer provide the clean-up plan or other documentation to the City? It's hard to imagine how such information and documentation would not be included in the staff report, and it's hard to imagine that the Planning Department would not have ordered and Environmental Impact Report (EIR) on the project.
Who knew what and when did they know it?
