The City of West Hollywood has issued a public notice in regards to the Walgreens project. In essence, it is the start of the preparation of the Environmental Impact Report, which assesses "the proposed project's effects on the environment, to identify significant impacts, and to identify feasible mitigation measures to reduce or eliminate potentially significant environmental impacts."
As part of the process, there is a public meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 16, 6:30 pm at Plummer Park Community Center. Here the public will have an opportunity to comment on what should be looked at in preparing the Environmental Impact Report.
The notice says the project will also be described at the meeting. This is a good thing, because it appears the project has changes some, but the neighborhood hasn't been informed of squat! We're trying to get information from the City of West Hollywood on any project revisions.
Stay tuned...and PLEASE SHOW UP ON DECEMBER 16. DETAILS TO COME...
